Hey Everyone!
This is Troy checking in. Today went by really fast and before we knew it, the job at Mrs. Hill's house was complete. She can now sit back on her deck with Peanut in her lap, and enjoy herself without worrying about falling through to the dirt below. It looks pretty good, too! Pictures will be available when we get back. We ended up finishing before lunch time, and got off the worksite around 12:30. We came back to Grace House to enjoy our lunches. Sandwiches taste particularly good after a day of work. Who knew we were such good deck-building, gutter-cleaning, ceiling-painting Episcopalians?
After having our lunch, we headed to Little Stoney Falls. All of us were quite excited to partake in the water-based adventures that were sure to face us. With a rapid turn of events, the sound of thunder took over Virginia and we retreated to our vehicles. Luckily, some of us got to go behind the waterfall before leaving. As the last person got in the car, rain began to pour down. Not long after, hail took over the windshield as we drove off on the dirt road. Momma Jane was not very happy about not getting the chance to swim. She pouted. (Look forward to the starting of Maddie's website, "sassymommajane.bloodspot.com" soon to come).
On the drive back, we stopped for milkshakes. 120 flavors? Win. I personally indulged in a chocolate covered cherry milkshake. It was healthy.
When we got back to Grace House, we headed our own ways. Some went upstairs for a jam sesh, others to their bunk for showering.
Now, I sit here in the kitchen. To my right, half-runner beans are being peeled. In case you were wondering (I'm sure you were all on the edge of your seat in anticipation) they take quite a long time to cook in order to be tender. Mrs. Boyd was great in teaching us how to cook the local green bean-esque vegetable. Dinner is also featuring chicken and rice and beans! At least I think that was what we decided on.
All in all, today was a good day. Tomorrow, we will face a new job. Two decks, that's right TWO, will be built. All is well here in Virginia!

Question: If it's two decks tomorrow, does that mean it's four on Friday? Two is impressive enough.
