Sorry for the delayed blogging. We were too busy having fun! On thursday, the group finished the first deck at Mrs. Carty's house and began the second. We were very proud of the work we had done on the first one and moved quickly with the second which we also had to build a wheel chair ramp on it. We had a short day with Mrs. Carty because we went to the Dante coal mining museum at 3:30. Here we got to read and see stories, pictures and old gear that the coal miners wore back in the day. It was pretty cool! After the museum, we had a cook out over the fire pit. Hot dogs, hamburgers and portobello mushrooms were cooked and enjoyed by all. We also had the pleasure of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd's companies during our dinner. Thursday turned out to be a pretty great day!
